Hello everyone I've created a set of modified lp files to ease resetting the car in the pits. When installed it should allow you to reset in the pits and the cars should respawn were you stopped them instead of the racingline/area.

Install instructions are included in the readme. Any further questions/problems post here and I'll try to address them.

Thanks to Dale for helping test.

Good news.. and we can now bring F1 level pit stops to GPL! Where's that pit stop evolution video when you need it :P

Tank of fuel and new tyres, as fast as you can say 'shift-r'! F1 world record pit stop is a shade over 2 seconds..

For us it's only available at Reims. Which is marginal on fuel if memory serves right.

OK, I forgot about that race. It is just great knowing that if you need a reset, you can do it and you don't get plopped out on the racing surface. And yes, you still have to wait for traffic to clear :3dnono:

Ah so we need to do a fuel reset in the pits, as some will not be able to use Lee's pitstop patch, right? Interesting, does remind me of MoG, when we were allowed up to 2 fuel resets I think in a 100% race. However we spawned on the pitstraight ofcourse...

Anyway, good job Michi, must have been a lot of work finding out for each track.

Thanks, not much work really. Only 3/16 had minor issues the rest was pretty much automatic. Longest part of it was doing slow (100kph) lap round Spa, although it such a pretty track I can only recommend it :-)

According to my data no. My data shows 49 laps as maximum distance for the Eagle at Reims. But given that the figure is derived from only my runs, I'm not confident that someone else will get the same mileage.

Generally there is nothing in the rules against pitstops except that PRO mode prohibited for D1 until Lee's patch. If memory severs Dale ran underfuelled last season a couple of times in D2.

I think D1 should run in Pro Reims. All we have GEM It would be proper to use the patch of Lee, which do not use GEM (which is a free choice as far as I know) might choose to drive the car saving fuel.
When we choose to use this track full GP, I had in mind this possibility: who wants to run with a Lotus or Eagle is free to do so, but must think your race strategy.
