Anyone else finding this track a bit of a frame-killer?  I'm findng it a bit stuttery around pretty much every corner.  In contrast, I can run 69X at full fat Monaco around all the hairpins and experience no stutters at all.

Hi Ronnie, I have no problems with Tucuman. Also checked it with full grid. I have a Nvidia 1050 GTX i (I think). My PC is not really fast but ok to run most games in fullHD.

Hi Rudy, I have just bought a similar graphics card.  Are you able to post your core.ini so I can compare with mine?

Hi Ronnie,
Do you see the stuttering @ both 36 & 60fps? I have found with my card (Only a 760GTX) that when running at 36fps I have to turn off "Anisotrophic Filtering" (Both in the Nvidea control panel and also in the Rasterizer section in GPL). Otherwise I get terrible stutters even at less demanding tracks. (Whereas @60fps It's as smooth as silk everywhere)

Hi John, having just tested, yes like you, it's nice and smooth at 60fps.  I turned off anisotropic filtering as per your suggestion, but it's not making any difference on 36fps, unfortunately.

Hi Ronnie, I will check it tomorrow. I am sorry my PC is not available right now. I have two Mac on my desk for work and when I want to fire up GPL I have to mount the monitor and everything first. And even worse my desk is overcrowded with documents and bills and financial stuff as I have to do some work. I shouldn't be on the forum right now... ;)

Hi Rudy, thanks for posting that - I am checking to see if my core.ini is wrong!

Actually, we're very similar.  I have turned off anisotropic filtering because it was making all my screens fuzzy.

Hi Ronnie,
Not sure if it helps but here are my Nvidea control panel settings. (You will likely have more options if your card is better than mine).

For comparison my system specs...
W7
i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz - 8mb Ram
Nvidea GTX760 - Driver Version 417.35

The "fuzzy" screens are usually due to Antiailiasing - FXAA (It needs to be turned off for GPL).

I do admit after switching between 60 & 36 fps to check I do see very minor stuttering @ 36fps but this is not related to track detail or grid size or if I'm online of offline it's just something I have always had since throwing away my old CRT monitor several years ago. I just assumed that it was because Modern monitors simply don't behave as well as the old CRT screens when running outside their native refresh rate.

TTFN
John.
