No Orange Zone incidents, fewer total incidents, and no one failing to make the 1/2 race distance to qualified as a finisher was involved a single accident.

Let's keep improving -

I agree I for one am glad I didnt see a single point for me as well as not touching a single car and my safety rating has gone down in the last 2 races and I will do my best to keep that going..  :beerchug:

after each week... usually around Sunday (today).  This gives us a day or two after the Stewards Report to update it, verify it's results etc.

Safety Ratings have been posted (I don't always announce it... just when something important).

A Borval has received a 1 race suspension due to his rating.  When he returns, he will be on probation until his average drops back to acceptable levels (<4.0).

Quick question Bruce. I noticed in the SR that several races claim 38, 42 racers. Didn't we have 44-46 show up. Where did the other drivers go. Thanks, just curious :)

It doesn't count if drivers don't complete 50% of the race (unless they have a reviewable incident in the first half of the race).

So if I crash myself out of the race on lap 10 and didn't have any reviewable incidents - my SR would not count that event.  However, if I crash out on lap 10 but spun someone in the OZ - it would count... or if I finish at least 50% of the race it would count.

updated SR after Shanghai has been posted.

Notable updates:
T Maurin on probation
R Mayfield and H Aguirra on watch

Remember, there are no issues with either of these conditions as long as your rating goes down.

VOR Stewards Report Shanghai
Orange Zone
4:40 - K Dickie hits R Rieux in the brake zone to turn 1 causing damage. Dickie needed to be prepared for the accordion effect here.
Infraction - K Dickie - Avoidable Contact in the Orange Zone
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, but just for a clarification:

I dont see my name in the OZ incident above...but why did I get a "1" in the safety rating column for incident at the Orange Zone?
The only 2 other drivers that got a "1"  in that column was exactly Dickie and Rieux, the only ones involved in a OZ incident.
My columns for Shangai were: X 3 1 2 4 _ ...being (correct me if I am wrong, please...):

... a "X" for making more than 50% of the race --> TRUE
... a "3" for being involved in 3 racing incidents --> TRUE
... a "1" for an incident at the OZ --> FALSE
... a "2" for a warning --> FALSE (I didnt get any warning in the Stewards Report)
... a "4" for an Infraction --> TRUE (Unsafe Track Rejoin)

From what I understand, I should have got only: X 3 _ _ 4 _

Thank you!

PS.: Im not complaining...Id just like a clarificartion, please...thank you again! ;)

Updated after Bahrain.

Notable changes:
1. Mayfield and Aguirra removed from watch list (rating went down)
2. Maurin suspended 1 race (was on probation and rating went up).  Will return to active but on probation after Greyhound.

Safety Ratings have been updated for Valencia and Fuji.  The trend calculations used the combined Valencia/Fuji.

Notables:
- A Borval is on probation.  If his rating goes up further, he will be suspended for 1 race.
