i'd have to take the roadster... it was my first intro to Indy 500.... and what i was most attracted to from the beginning

Wow, Don, what car is that? I'm currently researching into the 1922-29 Indy 500s at the moment, the period just before the 'junk formula' (what a name for 6L supercharged engines!) of 1930-35.

1926 Miller 91 falls right in the middle of that. Fascinating to see these cars race Indy in 'the history of motor racing' by Shell. I can't imagine driving one!

Yup, that car is the winner of the first Indianapolis 500.  Marmon Wasp.  I think he got credit for first use of a rear-view mirror.

That Miller 91 is a stunning piece of art considering it's age/era. No wonder they compared Henry Miller to Bugatti.
