for those who may not have seen it, mentions some intriguing similarities between learning GPL and the writer's experience learning similar cars that will be introduced with rFactor2. The post begins with a video. Excuse me. I need to go get a napkin to wipe the drool from my chin.

In addition there are two makes of F3 and F2 cars which have been updated and provide some great racing. Oh. And did I mention the Porsche 917 from 1971 that will soon be joined by the Ferrari prototype from the same year? Or every car and driver from F1 in 1975? And 1979? Or every car and driver from F5000 in 1970? I'm not bored yet.

The Brabham BT20 was made by ISI and is continued by Studio-397. It's available in the Steam Workshop, as are many vehicles and tracks. Look through there. You may find more that interests you than I've noted here. Just click the "Subscribe" button, and the item will be downloaded and installed. At this point, I'm not sure what's downloaded and installed when you first get rF2.
Ferrari 312-67: https://forum.studio...312-1967.57827/ is available in the Steam Workshop.
The "Eve" (Matra) and "Spark" (Tecno) cars are included in the Workshop as Eve Historics 1968 and Spark Historics 1968. When you subscribe you get F1, F2, and F3 cars.
The Matra V-12 F1 1968 is also in the Workshop as "Eve Matra F1".
The Porsche 917k is also in the Workshop.
The F1 1975 cars are in the Workshop with a League Edition (all cars equal, but different bodies and liveries) and the Historic Edition in which each car and livery has individual physics.
BTW when you log into Steam, search for me as JIMMYC and request I add you as a "Friend" then you can look at my "Favorites" in the Workshop and go from there.
To get the updated and improved F3 and F2 cars, go to: http://www.simracers...hp?action=forum
Join this group, then you can get to their mods. These folks are worth your sim-time. They focus on vintage rF2 mods. They are friendly, helpful, and race like gentlemen. Once you join, you can use this link: http://www.simracers...hp?topic=1726.0 to get the F2 cars. And then this link: http://www.simracers...hp?topic=1646.0 to get the F3 cars. These modified F3 cars have updated chassis and engines ranging in HP from 100 to 200.
There is also a 1967 F2 mod in the works: https://forum.studio...la-2-mod.54810/
The 1967 Grand Prix Legends type mod is in progress also: https://forum.studio...cing-2-0.58484/
The F5000 1969 cars are here: https://forum.studio...000-cars.52444/
That'll keep you busy for a while.

Downloaded several tracks. I don't see a Nordschleife there in the Workshop, though. Can you recommend one, and where I can get it? Still need to get the Eve and Spark Historics '68. Might do that this evening.
I sent a friend request for JIMMYC. I also submitted a registration to the Simracers group, but haven't got a response yet.
I must say that overall I'm pretty impressed. I was on the original beta team for RF2, and I must say it's come a long way. I am struggling a bit getting used to the feel of the cars though, as they seem to be very loose. Nothing seat-time won't cure...
Thanks again for all the help, and we'll be talking :-)
