Briley K. Ritchason, age 77, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday January 7, 2021. He was born in Carbon Hill, Ohio and graduated from South High School. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He enjoyed watching OSU football and basketball, auto racing, and spending time with his family. Briley retired from RoadMaster Driving Schools as a driver trainer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Grace Ritchason; brothers James Ritchason and Robert Ritchason; sisters Kathy Hanson and Kelly McCoy, Survivors include sister Connie Roberts, son Briley Ritchason; daughter Dawn (Michael) Ferrell; grandchildren Gerry, Brittany, Mason, Caleb and great grandchildren Aubree and Ayden.
A memorial will be held at Creekside Church on Saturday January 16, 2021. Visitation with the family will take place from 4-5pm, and the service will begin at 5pm with Pastor Tom Walker officiating.

After not having had contact with him for a couple years, I wrote him an e-mail on December 26th just to touch base. Now I know why he didn't answer.
I've missed him in oAo. He ultimately had to quit due to physical decline -- and that hurt him deeply. For the few seasons he drove with us, he was a hell of a driver. He was also a great guy and a great team mate.
Raise a glass, guys.
