It was a fun race anyway. Sorry to see Juan and Lee out of the race. After that, I was ready to give Terry a run for his money ;) So I decided to run the second to last sting with boost at 5 and to pit in lap 74, no tires. This way I guessed I was going to lose less time and this it was supposed to give me an advantage in the last laps.
Well, everything was working great till I made a huge mistake: speeding in the pitlane and a drive through penalti put an end to my hopes.
Anyway, great race from Terry and for the rest, better luck next time :)

Thanks for posting the replay cap, Arturo.  I'll try to give it a look later today.  Grats to Terry!  Hard luck on the pit lane violation, AP.  Bad luck for JM and LS.  :(

Here it is Wednesday morning and I'm still far from well.  No way I could have lasted at Texas.

As Art said (more or less) before the race, "this track takes your full attention, all the time."    I let my attention wander during the first yellow with an unfortunate result.  Until the yellow I was feeling pretty good. I led all the laps until the first pit cycle and was in a good position to lead some more.  Then, the yellow flew.  I pitted and saw the message that next time around we would go green so I hurried back to the pace car and Art.  But I was going so fast I couldn't stop in time and went past both before I could stop.  I stopped to let them back past when I got tapped from behind hard enough to cause some suspension damage (racing incident, no problem).  I could tell as we returned to speed that I had a problem.  My wheel was shaking down the straights and the car wanted to wander.  I pushed on anyway and the wandering seemed to get worse until I hit the wall again at speed.  Time to call it a day.

Congrats to Terry for the win and to Art for 2nd!

Yes, I noticed Lee´s car was passing me way too fast and his car stopped right against the pace car... it didn´t look good tbh.

Sorry about those problems Lee, and later Juan :(
