Congrats Urban! Nice drive. You did the difficult part, leading at least 99.9% of the race. I doubt I could have kept up with you if I didn't have the slipstream. I tried to be careful and leave you plenty of room. I enjoy driving so consistently.
It's surprising Dan allowed me to pass at the start. That's unusual. He often takes a spot from me. I guess he's getting tired of me hitting him in turn 1.
Nice lap time Tom. Had you practiced some you probably could have used the tow to stay with Urban too.
That's one reason I've never owned a motorcycle. As a teenager and young man, I surely would have tested the bike at some point. Wisely, I never thought I'd need more than 500 ccs. If I still had to do a lot of commuting I'd have bought a 250 cc Kawasaki Ninja 10 years ago. With a top speed of 90 mph, I wouldn't have been too afraid to ride from one side of Atlanta to the other. All the other 250 cc bikes appear to be limited to 75 mph. I'd be very wary of trying to cross a major city on the interstate in the US with that top speed. 20 years ago every time I got in the left lane on I-65 in Birmingham, AL at less than 85 mph, I'd be getting tailgated and slowing 2 or 3 cars. I-65 has become so congested now that you're lucky if you can make it through Birmingham at 55 mph.
Crazy chit! I've been watching some motorcycle videos lately. Reminds me of one I saw of somebody running from the cops here in the US. The lunatic was hitting 210 mph on the interstate. At 160mph the cop's Charger was keeping pace with him. I was surprised he survived. I kept thinking somebody will change lanes and never see him and he wouldn't be able to avoid them.
