Yes, big storm is coming.

Perhaps we could race at this track and get other one replaced.

Without Juan, I can't see that we can run.  At most, that would be four cars only.

If an electrical storm is on the horizon, let's postpone.

I ran off a handful of laps at Long Beach earlier today.  Felt good!  I'm 98% fit!

Fun till I hit the wall damaging the car too severely for crew to fix.  Wheel wobbled too much on the fast straights.

And thanks to Art for the pre-race driving help.  It made a big difference in my comfort level here and shaved off a few tenths.

This is a very unforgiving track where there is little room for mistakes. I think you made a big difference, cutting at least 3s from your first laptimes.

It is not easy to find a decent path, but it just takes a bit of practice. Good job anyway!! :)

Every thing was going right, very nice ride behind Doni and holding Juan, made an early pit stop for harder rubber, went out OK and two laps later I missed the darn braking point of T1 :( I like this track very much, very demanding and does not forgive a single mistake, but lack of clear braking points in both hard braking turns just seems .......  :wounded1:

Darn me Idiot !!!!  I had enough of a fast car to give Doni a good run for mis money !!!!   aaaaaaaaaarrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh  :AR15firing:

Amen :)

Congrats to whoever won, I will also miss next one as I´ll be away from home.

More than enough to give me a run for the money, Terry!  Grats on your great pace!  So sorry that you fell afoul of the tyre barrier in T1.  So easy to miss one's braking point at this venue.

It certainly was good to be back in the saddle after a prolonged absence thanks to a head/chest cold.  It's been a month now and I'm still under the influence to a minor degree.  Some colds come and go in a matter of three or four days.  Not this puppy.

I was surprised to set a PB in qualifying.  Boost #3.  Off to good launch from the start, I got a small lead over TM but he was definitely contending.  Lap08 was a bit of a howler.  I dove into the corner off the back straight just a little too hot and had to run up the escape road a touch.  Reversed to find Terry recovering as, apparently, he went in too hot as well.  LOL!  Only just getting by Terry, I came into heavy contact with Juan who was skirting to the right of Terry.  Sorry, JM.  Never saw you at all.  In looking at my replay cap, it seemed to me that the tail of my Reynard kicked out to the left and sent my car to the right directly into you.  If you weren't there to intercept me, I may well have driven head-first straight into the inner barrier.  Talk about lucky!

I ran Boost #1 for all but the last laps after the final pit service.  That's where I set the FTD thanks to the added punch.  I didn't have any other incidents but I noted from the replay cap that I had lotsa company in sampling that back straight escape road.  I think that everyone used it at least once at some point or other!

Congrats to Juan, Arturo and Lee for surviving!

Looking forward to the next round!  :)
