Google maps shows how they changed the track.


The first and second turns are plainly visible. The grandstands at the 3rd turn are still there, and you can see where the track was.  The rest has been ruined.  I'd love to see the track restored.  The new track attempts to replicate the old track, but it's too short and too easy.

Actually the Red Bull Ring creates a lot of great racing in different categories of auto/motorsports! The lay-out might be simple, but again it makes for great racing as we have seen recently with F1 and MotoGP as well ;)

To me this is one of the better jobs Tilke did, together with Malaysia and COTA. ;)

Yes agreed, Both the Moto3 and MotoGP provided a great finish yesterday, Fennati was way off in front in Moto3 but 2nd-4th covered by about a bike length. and MotoGP well... Watch the final lap, Never see that in F1.

I started out with nothing and still have most of it left.
