This is me in my FV. The piece of foam went into my oil cooler scoop on the right side of the car and blocked it completely. I might have detected the problem if not for a failure of the oil pressure gauge due to the sensor wire coming off, probably due to a somewhat hasty engine swap the day before.
The FV is quite a bit easier to drive than a GPL 67 car with much, much less power. Top speed at WGI is around 115-120 depending on whether you are drafting.. Cornering speed is about as good as you can get without aero.
