QUOTE (Jason Quinn @ Jul 10 2009, 10:54 AM)
If I remember correctly they didn't pit for fuel back in 91, so we shouldn't be either.

Can the server be made to ban stops for fuel?  If so, that would be ideal and then I wouldn't make a stop mandatory, take the pit lane speed limits off, and run things close to '91 rules.

Also, is Spa the version with the big artificial bump in the middle of Eau Rouge?  It's a shame we didn't have the track with that area smoothed out.

John

If someone else wants to step up and take this over they can and when the do they can make the rules :) so for now the in not open for debate. I am not trying to be a dick, I like to have to use pit strategies so we are.

Thanks Cya on the track

Love it love it love it! I love a car you HAVE to drive in order to be fast. Its a work out but at the same time its greatly rewarding. I know this season is going to be a test season where we run the VOR tracks, but wouldnt it be cool if we could one day run the 91 season? :) I think all of the tracks have been released with a rather good copy except for Phoenix. Just thinking WAY ahead.

Does anybody know any one who can modify the sounds to be on the same volume? Maybe a middle road. I was racing with Raymond and his Ligier Lambo and I couldnt hear anything from my car.
So far I've found the Lotus, and Tyrrells to be quieter.

Once again Chuck, Bruce and all the other decision makers. Thanks for making this possible.

This idea could work but will require a lot of work and a lot of help

I'm on the Open Wheel server.

Please give me feed back on fps, what you would like to see me do, camera wise etc. :) Thanks

I am with John about the SPA version. The artificial bump at Eau rouge, kill the car and i tried a lot of Setup to try to be safe there but the car allways do the same there (lost control)

Give it some springs in the rear, and make the front and rear ARB's stiffer. That did the trick for me. Now I can go through there flat out.

The 1988 version is better IMO, although the graphics are kinda rough. Just need Chuck's input now.
