Well, weve always had a home at the Speedgeezers Network, but weve built an addition to it in the form of the official ADC website! It still needs a bit of "prettying up", but most of the basic structure and information is there. Its a work in progress, and well be making changes/additions/improvements as we go along. Any suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated, too.

So what will you find on the website? Youll find a news section, in which well try to keep you up to date with important announcements. Well continue to use the SGN forums as our mainline for day-to-day discussions, so youll find a direct link to the forums, and also to the calendar. Youll find a section with the history of the ADC, and other club information. There are separate sections for GPL and GTR, in which youll find descriptions of the various Divisions, and information regarding the specific tracks/cars etc. that we use in the ADC. Youll find a links section to many of the important links in the GPL, GTR, and general simracing communities. And some other fun stuff. Hopefully the website will become a handy resource for the ADC membership.

There are many people I need to thank for this. First of all, let me thank Bernd Nowak, as not only is he the guy who has put the website together, but it was at his insistence that we got started on it again. The basic idea to have the website is nearly four years old, but for one reason or another it just never really got going until Bernd got the project restarted a couple of months ago.

Next, I need to thank Greg Cooper, as without his original concept and vision for the ADC it would have never happened in the first place. I need to thank Robert Warfield, who was invaluable in helping me put together some of the information, especially as it relates to our very early days. I want to thank Robby Canty, Mark Casey, Monte Smith, and Andi Cole, as their directorship in the various Divisions has been an invaluable element of the ADCs existence. Id also like to thank Steve Scholten, Syd Drake, and Chris Smit for their help not only with this website, but in the case of Syd and Chris,  for their work on their own websites for the ADCs benefit. The efforts of these people have not gone un-noticed, and as soon as we can figure out a way to recognize them, we will. And there are countless others that have had a significant impact on the ADC, and Im surely forgetting some names. You know who you are, and believe me your efforts are appreciated!

But most importantly, I want to thank you, the ADC membership. Without your presence and dedication, there would be no need for this website. I hope you enjoy it!

And here it is:

We all owe Bernd a huge thanks for his efforts to pull this together.

But, we would be remiss to not also thank David for his tireless effort, much of it behind the scenes, to make ADC what it has become.

Three cheers for Dave!  :band1:

And three cheers for Bernd!   :disco:

Three cheers for everyone! :gathering:

I just had a look at the new website, GREAT WORK !  :clap2:  I think it's excellent that we have a place to call home (besides this fantastic forum)

Perhaps we could have a section on the site with a member presentation...

Kind regards,

That was added because we thought the race reports are an excellant addition to the whole ADC experience. As David said thanks to everyone who has helped make the ADC what it is.

I have checked all the GPL Track download links and have corrected them where the original download wasn't possible anymore. Additional I have added
the first Update link for Bremgarten. If anyone knows some important track updates please give me the link.

And of course the same goes for the GTR section :D

I've not studied the site in massive detail, so you might already have this.  But if you haven't - how about a brief terminology FAQ?  It took a few races before I worked out what 'PO' meant!   Having said that, I can't think of any other terms that need explaining...so ignore me :P
