GPL Division
Schedule for next season:

Race# Date Track Laps Series
1 19/03/16 Kyalami 36 67F1
2 02/04/16 Brands Hatch 67 33 67F2
3 16/04/16 Balcarce 36 67F1
4 30/04/16 Sandown68 42 67F2
5 14/05/16 Spa67 15 67F1
6 28/05/16 Spa67 14 67F2
7 11/06/16 Daytona67 70 67F1
8 25/06/16 Keimola 40 67F2
9 09/07/16 Monza 33 67F1
10 23/07/16 Enna 42 67F2

We will run 2 fun races in January:
9/01/2016 Sandown68 1967 F2 mod
23/01/2016 Daytona67 1967 F1

We will use the 66fpsv2newmod patch, so be sure you have it installed properly!

The rules will be the same as usual, so F2 races will consist of 2 heats, with shorter practices. 1967 F1 races: 30 minutes practice followed by the race. I will post the full rules later.

Due to the problems we had with the server, Season 27th was cancelled, so we are moving to season 28th now. :)

The problem is I must go away on vacations with my family in February so to start a season now seemed a bit earlier imho. So we will get some fun races in the meantime :)

While practicing at Kyalami, I noticed an odd thing happening with the AI drivers: Their cars are failing at an astounding rate. I adjusted the seasons configuration file for the track so that the Grand Prix race would be 120 laps.  That produces a 36-lap race at the Int Long level.  But almost none of the AI drivers' cars can go that distance.  They're failing with every engine problem imaginable.  With 19 drivers starting the race, all but one or two will have retired before even the 30th lap.  In one 18-lap race I watched at an accelerated speed every single car was out by the 15th lap.  I thought maybe I'd created this problem by screwing around with the length of the Grand Prix race, but that isn't it.  If I change that length in the seasons folder to 36, they still drop out like flies.  It doesn't seem to change a thing.  I've also used different driver.ini files, but that doesn't keep them from blowing up either.

I wonder if I haven't screwed up some variable in some other configuration file.  Can anyone suggest a solution to get the cars of these poor drivers running again?  TIA, of course.

Hi Bob :)

To get practice with the AI, do not use the 60fps patch! It does not work well with the AI for what I know. Let me know if this worked out the problem!

Thanks, AP.  I'll give it a try (if I can figure out how to unwind things).

Unfortunately not :( I am trying to hire a new server, but it will take a couple of weeks to see if I can make the deal.

My apologies my friend :(

Thank you Bob!! In the meantime, you can also try the oAo league. They race on Saturdays, 2 hours earlier than AtlasF1 and they use the 1967 F1s. Their forum is here at Speedgeezers. The schedules of both leagues were coordinated in a way that oAo´s Division 2 schedule didn´t interfere with the AtlasF1´s. That is why I run in the Division 2. Very clean driving and 1 hour long races.
