In spite of the low turnout, it was a great race. In my case, while it lasted ;)

Once again Lee showed his master strategy and it paid off for sure. Terry decided to go at full throttle from the start, while Lee was running at a much slower pace. For some time, I decided to follow Lee, suspecting he was cooking something. But when I saw Terry was going away, I tried to catch him... big mistake.
Everything seemed to be ok and, after my last pitstop, I had to pit in about lap 74 or close, to continue the race with boost at 5 and have enough fuel to finish. It seemed to me that Lee was not going to pit again but I was confident I could catch him and Terry... till the engine blew up... again :(
That was a nasty surprise for sure.
Congratulations to Lee for a fantastic win and to Terry for keeping the pace and getting some strong points. It seems this is not my season ;)

This is what I like about Atlas CART98 racing, Arturo.  The strat can be all over the map and who's to say which is best.  Only the last laps tell.  :)

I'm on the road to recovery and feel 85%.  Should be back in the saddle for the next round.

Strategy Mastered by Mr. Simpson :)  WTG Lee !

I tought I had it in my pocket, car was fast and steady, I based mine on tire burn, logic was I can save fuel by going slower but cant save enough RF rubber so I decided to go for the 3 stops deal, faster than Lee, but not fast enough !!!

Sorry about Art´s engine, still wonder how is that those engines keep blowing ?  I´d never blown even one ? maybe my right foot is getting light on me ?  :P

Good to hear you´re getting better Doni, we sure miss you on the track.
