WOSEC is running Le Mans 2006 using Red Line's GTP mod for NR2003 after all, on November 25, 2006.         Last year, the ADC Team finished 14th and we all (mostly) had a lot of fun doing it.   :D

I'd like to get a preliminary headcount of interested drivers.

IMPORTANT! Please include the following information:

1. Timezone in this format: GMT + or - x hours

2. Hardcore or Casual driver

- Hardcore means that you are interested in a serious effort.  That means 3 to 5 drivers maximum, 3 to 4 hour driving shifts to minimize driver changes, and the commitment to stick with it as a team for the full 24 hours.  You will have to drive 3 or 4 shifts!  You don't have to be alien fast but you do need to be able to run consistent, competitive laps while taking care of the car.

- Casual means that you want to participate and have a good time but can only commit to 1 or 2 shifts.  You might be fast or slow but you can keep the car on the track for two hours while not abusing it.

Post your interest in this thread!  Track download, ini, and other information is available on the WOSEC website.  More information will follow once we have a good idea of who is joining in the fun!   :gpler:

Count me in. 'Casual verging on laid-back' so can't understand the engine failure *shakes todger* hehe.
Oh yeah...same time zone as Tom.
O.K. John. So...when ARE we gonna cut and run??

To be honest, James, I'm not sure I'll fit into either category. I would prefer stints no longer than two hours, as it's really tough for my back to sit for that long. But on the other hand, I'll be flexible and available to run any open stint that's needed, however many, at whatever time.

My local time is GMT-5.

James,

I can run several stints as well, but I'm not very fast. Like David, running over two hours becomes difficult for my back & my eyes (both getting older). Consider me a casual racer as well. GMT -6.

If you guys are going to race the 24 hr thing you had better get singed up quick there are 34 cars already so only a few spots left. I have made a move top RC Motorsports for this race. We will be in a Mazda and I will try not to take you out to soon. :gpler:
No GPL for me lately I have 2 6hr races 2 weeks in a row at Sebring one in rFactor and the other in the GTP mod:) Good luck to you guys here at the ADC :)

Good luck Chuck.   :)

Looks like we're a one car team unless we get some more help.

Ok, I just got us signed.  One car, the 67.  I think we are the 35th car to sign up and it looks like they can take a max number of 37 or 38.

If anyone else want to join, speak now!   :beerchug:

This might be the same one but its the best I've got so far.

We should collaborate on setups as much as we can.

What's happened to our friend Bernd? Can't think this momentous occasion would pass without his presence?

You know, I have been busy with some projects, and it's just dawned on me that this is just two weeks away. We better get busy with a roster and schedule...

Thanks for the reminder.  I'll email our team this weekend and see what we can put together .  I guess, I'd better practice a bit, too...
