We need an oval as well, I'll throw Trenton(bit GPU heavy), Phoenix and Pocono in as my shortlist.

Like Michi, I'd like to see a proper oval return to the schedule. I'd prefer it be a short oval, though -- one that doesn't over emphasize top speed. I think Milwaukee or Phoenix would be perfect. Trenton would be great, too, but it is much too graphics heavy for my system. Even with graphics fully minimized, I'm getting <10 fps past the pits.

Great job TSG!

Very challenging schedule! It might be hard for raw D2 drivers with all due respect, at some tracks. But I like those longer and technical tracks that need more efforts to learn properly. I'm particularly looking forward to Schottenring and Brno 1949 (with the added section, without markers tho, compared to Brno 1965. Makes it more difficult IMO). Personally I don't like Phoenix for GPL, I'd preferred a faster oval that would also level out the playing field more.

Just my opinion ;)

Erm... are we sure the server is running S21 tracks?  Donington 37 was not even mentioned, yet it's on the server now!

Am I the only one that likes Phoenix? Or mid sized ovals for that matter? Daytona and the superspeedways are Eaglefests and sheer luck and I rather not have that on the schedule if there is only a single oval on it.

just started watching a youTube replay of '94 Cart/Indycar at Phoenix...after 20 laps i couldn't watch any more. talk about 'luck'! to overtake here takes real talent and CAUTION! a backmarker can ruin much of the racing, and cost more than one other their race if faster cars catch him in a bad place. try racing the Ai here if you've not. i'll race it, but i won't enjoy it.

I like the 1 mile ovals, especially Milwaukee. I haven't yet formed an opinion on Phoenix, except that it seems more complex.

I agree with Michi about any oval that doesn't even require you to lift off the accelerator. Too much emphasis on sheer speed. At least the one mile ovals make it possible to compete in something other than an Eagle.

I did like PIR with NR2003, unique oval unlike many 1.5mile cookie cutter tracks. Passing clean with GPL will be very hard I expect, and Bruce makes a valid point. I'm afraid it's going to be more of a lottery. But I might be totally wrong.

It's true at PIR the chassis has less influence than at let's say Michigan, but on the other hand driver skills will make more difference at PIR. I'll try to have an open mind when we visit Phoenix.

Again, great schedule in general, very challenging! Great job TSG! :)

I have driven P.I.R. on IndyCar Series but I think it has been one of my least favorite ovals of that game, along with Nazareth and Gateway.

In general, I am not that fond of short ovals.
I don't think we get that exciting side-by-side racing through the turns like we can on longer ovals like Daytona.
Perhaps it is possible on modern vehicles to drive like that, but on GPL I wouldn't dare it as much to do that.

Yeah, long ovals may seem dull, but overall these are just the ones that really gets me pumped.
I remember battling Robert for the lead in race at the last lap in 65 cars and I felt my veins in my neck of adrendaline and excitement. I think he has a video of it somewhere? :)

So you, I'd rather have ovals of at least 1.5 miles long.

FRIENDS:
Thanks for your comments and suggestions (the critics will never be welcome  ). I have come to the conclusion that the season should have at least 35 dates to conform the members of the TSG, I am sure that with 100 races we would not conform to all the members of the league ... Thanks again, we really do it with passion, with the same passion that each participant puts in this league.
