So what will you find on the website? You’ll find a news section, in which we’ll try to keep you up to date with important announcements. We’ll continue to use the SGN forums as our mainline for day-to-day discussions, so you’ll find a direct link to the forums, and also to the calendar. You’ll find a section with the history of the ADC, and other club information. There are separate sections for GPL and GTR, in which you’ll find descriptions of the various Divisions, and information regarding the specific tracks/cars etc. that we use in the ADC. You’ll find a links section to many of the important links in the GPL, GTR, and general simracing communities. And some other fun stuff. Hopefully the website will become a handy resource for the ADC membership.
There are many people I need to thank for this. First of all, let me thank Bernd Nowak, as not only is he the guy who has put the website together, but it was at his insistence that we got started on it again. The basic idea to have the website is nearly four years old, but for one reason or another it just never really got going until Bernd got the project restarted a couple of months ago.
Next, I need to thank Greg Cooper, as without his original concept and vision for the ADC it would have never happened in the first place. I need to thank Robert Warfield, who was invaluable in helping me put together some of the information, especially as it relates to our very early days. I want to thank Robby Canty, Mark Casey, Monte Smith, and Andi Cole, as their directorship in the various Divisions has been an invaluable element of the ADC’s existence. I’d also like to thank Steve Scholten, Syd Drake, and Chris Smit for their help not only with this website, but in the case of Syd and Chris, for their work on their own websites for the ADC’s benefit. The efforts of these people have not gone un-noticed, and as soon as we can figure out a way to recognize them, we will. And there are countless others that have had a significant impact on the ADC, and I’m surely forgetting some names. You know who you are, and believe me your efforts are appreciated!
But most importantly, I want to thank you, the ADC membership. Without your presence and dedication, there would be no need for this website. I hope you enjoy it!
And here it is:

But, we would be remiss to not also thank David for his tireless effort, much of it behind the scenes, to make ADC what it has become.

Three cheers for Dave!

And three cheers for Bernd!

Three cheers for everyone!

That was added because we thought the race reports are an excellant addition to the whole ADC experience. As David said thanks to everyone who has helped make the ADC what it is.
